The extension accesses your Automation Anywhere A360 authentication token stored in your browser's local storage to communicate with the Automation Anywhere Control Room API. Important points:

The authentication token is only accessed from your browser's local storage
The token is used solely to make API requests to your Automation Anywhere Control Room
The token is never transmitted to any third-party servers
The token is not stored by the extension beyond the active session
All API communications occur directly between your browser and your Automation Anywhere Control Room

3. Permissions Explanation

The extension requests the following Chrome permissions for its core functionality:

3.1 activeTab Permission

Allows the extension to interact with the currently active tab to access bot content from the Automation Anywhere A360 bot editor.

3.2 storage Permission

Used to temporarily store extension settings and preferences locally in your browser. No personal data is stored.

3.3 scripting Permission

Enables the extension to inject content scripts into web pages to interact with the Automation Anywhere A360 interface.

Important: All permissions are used exclusively for the extension's intended functionality and do not enable any form of data collection or tracking.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

Bot Logging Enhancer does not share any data with third parties because it does not collect any data. The extension:

Does not communicate with any external servers operated by us
Does not use analytics or tracking services
Does not display advertisements
Only communicates with your configured Automation Anywhere Control Room
