This Chrome extension is developed by Anand S Kale to enhance the functionality of Automation Anywhere A360 bots by providing professional utilities to improve bot development, including intelligent line number injection, bot content management, and workflow automation.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our extension operates and confirms that we do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.

2. Information Collection and Use

2.1 No Personal Data Collection

A360 BotKit does not collect any personal information from users. This includes but is not limited to:

A360 Control Room URLs or configurations

2.2 Local Processing Only

All functionality of the A360 BotKit extension operates entirely within your local browser environment. The extension:

Processes bot content locally in your browser
Performs line number calculations on your device
Updates bot logging structures without sending data to external servers
Stores only theme preferences in your browser's local storage
Validates placeholders locally without external API calls
Generates statistics reports locally

2.3 Authentication Token Handling

The extension accesses your Automation Anywhere A360 authentication token stored in your browser's local storage to communicate with the Automation Anywhere Control Room API. Important points:

The authentication token is only accessed from your browser's local storage
The token is used solely to make API requests to your Automation Anywhere Control Room
The token is never transmitted to any third-party servers
The token is not stored by the extension beyond the active session
All API communications occur directly between your browser and your Automation Anywhere Control Room
The extension does not have access to your A360 password or credentials

3. Permissions Explanation

The extension requests the following Chrome permissions for its core functionality:

3.1 activeTab Permission

Allows the extension to interact with the currently active tab to access bot content from the Automation Anywhere A360 bot editor. This permission is only active when you click the extension icon.

Important: All permissions are used exclusively for the extension's intended functionality and do not enable any form of data collection or tracking.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

A360 BotKit does not share any data with third parties because it does not collect any data. The extension:

Does not communicate with any external servers operated by us
Does not use analytics or tracking services
Does not display advertisements
Does not share information with any third parties
Only communicates with your configured Automation Anywhere Control Room
Does not transmit data outside your browser except to your A360 Control Room

5. Local Storage Usage

A360 BotKit uses browser localStorage only for storing your preferences:

Theme Preference: Stores your choice of light or dark mode (key: 'botkit-theme')
No Bot Data: Bot content is never stored locally
No Credentials: User credentials are never stored by the extension
Clear Anytime: You can clear this data through browser settings

7. Data Security

Since the extension operates entirely locally and does not collect or transmit personal data, there is minimal security risk. However, we recommend:

Keeping your browser and the extension updated to the latest version
Using the extension only on trusted devices
Following your organization's security policies when working with Automation Anywhere A360
Always backing up your bots before using the Patch feature
Reviewing the open-source code if you have security concerns

8. Children's Privacy

Our extension is designed for professional use with Automation Anywhere A360 and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
